St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation is the first healthcare charity in Hamilton to earn the Imagine Canada's Ethical Fundraising License.

This designation is a symbol that our Foundation meets or surpasses a set of standards designed to encourage responsible and transparent practice by charities towards donors, stakeholders and the public. This license is our community's assurance that St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation operates with the highest ethical standards.

St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation reaches out to the community and builds partnerships, which support St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton's mission to provide innovative, compassionate care to all.

Community support makes the research and patient care innovations at St. Joseph's possible. The Hospital, through its Foundation, relies on donations from the community to assist with capital improvements, research, education, and equipment purchases.

St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton is one of Canada's most dynamic and innovative academic health sciences centres. A tradition of excellence and compassion in patient care has been the trademark of St. Joseph's Healthcare since the Sisters of St. Joseph came to Hamilton in 1852.
