Boris Family makes $5 Million Gift to Surgical Care

On Friday, December 9, 2011, for the second time this year, St. Joe’s has announced a landmark gift from the Boris Family. This time, the founders of Mountain Cablevision have donated $5 million to support surgical excellence at St. Joe’s; namely through the acquisition of the world’s most advanced surgical robot. RBC Foundation is Giving Mental Health a Hand
with Half-Million Dollar Campaign Gift
On Wednesday October 5, the hospital that is the regional lead for mental health and addiction services got an additional vote of confidence from Canada’s largest bank. This morning, RBC announced a new $500,000 gift to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.

The Juravinski's do it again! On June 7th, 2011 the couple who is becoming synonymous with healthcare in Hamilton did it again. Right out of the gate, Charles and Margaret Juravinski announced a new pace-setting gift. The couple will make a new $10 million donation to the Hospital. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 marked the public launch of the largest fundraising campaign in the 121-year history of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Through Timeless Care, Tomorrow’s Discoveries – The Campaign for St. Joseph’s Healthcare, $75 million will be raised to support three vital projects at the hospital: the renewal of St. Joseph’s Charlton Campus operating rooms; the construction of a new integrated mental health and medical care facility at the West 5th Campus; and the funding of vital healthcare research at St. Joe’s.
