Our 2021 Golf Tournament Raises $85,000 for Mental Health Care!
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all of the sponsors, players, volunteers and committee members who were a part of the St. Joe’s Golf Tournament on Sept. 9 at Glendale Golf & Country Club. It was an un-FORE-gettable day that raised an incredible $85,000 to help build a new home for emergency mental health care at St. Joe’s!
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, attendees safely enjoyed a full round of golf, which included on-course (physically distant) food stations, player gifts, a raffle and a variety of well-loved contests such as longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one – all in support of St. Joe’s.
Funds raised on the fairways will support the expansion and renewal of our Emergency Mental Health Service (Psychiatric Emergency Service) by creating a larger, more patient-centric space for people in crisis – one that reflects our focus on compassion, dignity and respect.
A special thanks goes out to this year’s presenting sponsor St. Elizabeth Village (a Zest Communities property) for once again partnering with St. Joe’s Foundation to host this much-anticipated tournament, and for making it a resounding success!
Through the generosity of individuals and organizations in our community, St. Joe’s Golf Tournament has raised $360,000 over the past few years to support the care St. Joe’s is honoured to provide to our community. We look forward to seeing you all again for the next tournament in 2022!
