Canada’s Spring Cycling Classic Returns

Paris to Ancaster | A Ride for Research Offers Two Ways for Riders to Take Part in Support of one Great Cause

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation is pleased to return as the official charity partner of Paris to Ancaster | A Ride for Research. This much-loved spring cycling event was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but race organizers John Thorpe and Tim Farrar worked incredibly hard to create two new, safe, socially distant ways for cycling fans to take part: A Virtual ride on Saturday, April 24th and the ‘Not the Paris to Ancaster’ routes on Saturday, April 25th.

Update: The P2A Proper May be Sold Out, but You Can do Your Own Ride for Research:

Cycling outdoors is one of the safest activities to engage in amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the stay at home order recently put in place. Perhaps that’s why the Paris to Ancaster event sold out so quickly. But worry not, even if you missed the chance to sign up for the Paris to Ancaster Race on April 24 & 25, St. Joe’s invites you to create your own course or just head out for a ride around your favourite neighbourhood while raising funds to support research. Sign up here to fundraise and do your own ride for research.

No matter which way you chose to take part in Paris to Ancaster this year, we hope that you will also consider raising funds to support the ground-breaking research underway at St. Joe’s. You can read more about research at our Hospital in this new annual report from The Research Institute of St. Joe’s Hamilton.
