It’s GIVING TWOSDAY I YOU Choose Your Way to Support St. Joe’s

It’s GIVING TUESDAY, but here at St. Joe’s Foundation, we like to call it GIVING TWOSDAY because this year there are TWO different ways that you can give back to the Hospital that’s been caring for our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. You choose the one that moves you most.

Be a Life Saver: Help Build a Home in Emerg for our CT Scanner

Every day, the patients cared for in our Emergency Department are fighting for their lives. They could be victims of a car accident, experiencing a heart attack or a stroke, or having severe symptoms that don’t seem to have a root cause. But before our care teams can diagnose these patients and recommend treatment, our care providers need to see what’s happening on the inside. That means patients are transferred to our Diagnostic Imaging department for a CT scan, then returned to Emerg to await their results.

BUT, if we had a dedicated CT Suite INSIDE our Emergency Department we could save precious time while saving precious lives. We actually already have the CT Scanner…we just need a little help from people like YOU to help raise the funds needed to install it in the Emergency Department.
