Paris to Ancaster: A Ride for Research Helps Pedal Research Innovation Forward
April showers bring May flowers…and mud. Lots of it! We are so grateful to all of the riders who braved the rain on Sunday, April 30 for Paris to Ancaster, and to all those who raised funds and donated to support groundbreaking research at our Hospital.
Even a few of our Hospital staff braved the weather to ride in support of St. Joe’s. Pictured here is Dr. Bobby Shayegan, Chief of Surgery, and Sarah Howe, Executive Director of The Research Institute.
Since 2016, over $400,000 has been raised to help fund innovative healthcare research and the advancement of patient care at St. Joe’s. Throughout all event distances, there were more than 30 fundraising teams supporting research at St. Joe’s and together, with donations made during registration, too, we’re closing in on nearly $50,000 raised! Thank you for your support!
