Silver Bells Gala Raises more than $650,000 for St. Joe’s!
On Saturday, November 5th, we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the St. Joe’s Gala with some of our closest donors, sponsors and friends. We are delighted to share that we’ve raised an all-time high of over $650,000 for St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton…and we couldn’t be more grateful!
These funds will bring us one step closer to building a CT Suite in our Emergency Department to help speed up diagnosis and reduce the backlog of diagnostic imaging scans put on hold during the pandemic. They’ll also help to fund more than 70 robotic surgeries to care for patients with cancers of the lung, prostate, kidney, head and neck.
Through the capital equipment auction portion of the evening, our guests rallied together to donate enough to fund 11 new point-of-care ultrasound machines for our busy dialysis unit. A special thanks to the following organizations and individuals who made a leadership donation to fund a full ultrasound unit.
- Giovanni and Concetta Guglietti Family
- Kieron Hayes and Michelle Vickers
- LiUNA, Blair and Kathy McKeil
- Minett Capital Foundation
- Spallacci Family
- Sierra Supply Chain Services
- St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation’s Board of Directors
- TNG Capital Corp and Angelo and Darlene Paletta
- William J. Walker, Heather Hill, Mark Tamminga and Joany Verschuren.
Of course, a night like this takes a village to plan and execute, so we’d also like to express our thanks to our outstanding 2022 Gala Committee: Angelo & Darlene Paletta, Gala Co-Chairs and Committee Members Mary Lou Ciancone, Rita De Luca, Andrea De Rubeis, Anna De Rubeis, Lucy Faiella-Visca, Tony Magliocco, Anne Moore-Cox, Ben Pace, Cristina Persi, and Catherine Sennett.
On behalf of the patients we care for, thank you for helping to make our silver anniversary a resounding success! Cheers to the next 25 years!
