St. Joe’s Gala: A Northern Soir-éh Raises Over $650,000
On Saturday, November 8, we celebrated our 28th annual St. Joe’s Gala: A Northern Soir-éh. This year’s event transformed Liuna Station into an enchanting evergreen forest as guests embarked on a coast-to-coast journey celebrating Canada’s rich culture, flavours and community spirit.
Thanks to the leadership of our gala committee, the generosity of nearly 50 sponsors, and the support of 440 guests, we raised over $650,000 in support of our Hospital.

These funds will help fuel St. Joe’s innovative robotic surgery program to help deliver faster recoveries and shorter wait times. Funds will also support the work of our Indigenous Health Team as they strive to reduce barriers, improve access to care and create a culturally safe patient care environment.
Through the capital auction portion of the evening, our guests made generous charitable bids to support our ‘renov-auction’ raising $241,725 to support the renewal and expansion of our kidney transplantation and care clinics at St. Joe’s Charlton Campus.
Thank you to our incredible guests, sponsors, donors and volunteers for making our Northern Soir-éh a night to remember. Your generosity is fueling care, innovation, research and transformation at one of our nation’s leading hospitals: St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
Special thanks also goes out to our 2025 Gala Committee pictured below (left to right): Tony Magliocco, Joe Mancinelli, Lucy Faiella-Visca, Carrie Trembinski, Kathy McKeil, Saverina Scozzari, Sera Filice, Cristina Persi, Enza Mancinelli, Mary Lou Ciancone, Rita De Luca, and Catherine Sennett.
