Thank You for Filling Our Cup with Your Philanthropy!

Over the holiday season, support poured in for our “Double Double” campaign raising $263,959.78 to bring a new fleet of vital signs monitors to St. Joe’s.

Our Foundation is overflowing with gratitude after receiving nearly 1,000 gifts, which were bolstered by $100,000 in matching funds from the Ever Hopeful Fund, to help support this vital equipment need at our Hospital.

Every day departments across our Hospital rely on these small yet powerful devices to check and monitor a patient’s heart rate, oxygen levels, and blood pressure. Nearly every patient we see will need to use one during their visit.

Thanks to a bold blend of support from our donors, grateful patients and the Ever Hopeful Fund, we’ll be able to replace vital signs monitors and other essential equipment in the Emergency Department, Clinical Teaching Unit, Complex Care Area, Urgent Care Centre and Psychiatric Emergency Service.

A special shout out to all of the supporters who sent in heartwarming wishes along with their donations. These thoughtful notes were posted up at our Charlton Campus to “perk” up the spirits of our patients and care teams over the holiday season.
