The 2021 Around the Bay Road Race Goes Virtual

As a hospital foundation, we fully support the Around the Bay Road Race organizers’ decision to move to a virtual event in 2021 which will help to protect the well-being of all participants. You can still walk, run, or relay your way through a 5k, 30k, or the new Hammer distance categories all while raising funds for St. Joe’s.

While in-person events may not be back until 2022, the need for mental health care in our region continues to grow. Funds raised through this year’s Bay Race will support the expansion and renewal of our Emergency Mental Health Services – a service that has never been more important than it is right now as we all cope with the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the physical distancing measures in place to slow its spread.

There can be no health with out good mental health and running and exercise is so important to your mood and wellbeing. So join us for a Virtual Bay Race! You can sign up by clicking here, or if you had registered for the cancelled 2020 event and would like to transfer your registration to the 2021 Virtual Event, please contact adam@stjoesfoundation.ca
