Leave a Gift in Your Will
Leaving a legacy gift is a personal decision - one that speaks to your values and a desire to give back to the causes and organizations that mean so much to you, your family and your community.
Wills can be structured in a way that allows you to provide financial security for your loved ones first, while also reserving a portion for charitable giving. These gifts tend to come in all shapes and sizes, but every one of them can reduce the tax burden for your beneficiaries and every one of them helps our Hospital to continue its long legacy of providing compassionate care.
If you let us know about your future gift to St. Joe’s, we can share your vision for what this gift will help to achieve while also recognizing you for your generous support of our Hospital. We have provided several resources below, but because this is such a personal decision, whenever you’d like to chat with us, we’re here to listen and to help.

A Free Legal Will
We have partnered with Willfora to help you create a Will. Willfora is a guided, online Will service for Canadians. It empowers you to create your own simple Will online and even includes the option to add Power of Attorney documents.
You also have the option to leverage your Will to support charities and causes that are close to your heart. There is absolutely no obligation to include St. Joe’s in your Will, but we hope that you may consider doing so.
We've also hosted a webinar with Willfora to explain the benefits of having a Will and how to use the platform. The full webinar recording is available for viewing below.
