In Ontario, many of us have grown up with the belief that healthcare is “free” and the government provides all the funding that Hospitals need to care for our community. But the truth is, the operating dollars St. Joe’s receives from the province aren’t enough to cover the costs of renovating patient care areas, purchasing the latest medical equipment or funding the research studies that will lead to tomorrow’s treatments and cures.

That’s why St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation works with our generous community to raise funds that fuel the unstoppable compassion of our care teams. But our Hospital can't run on compassion alone. Your donations are helping to renew our patient care spaces, fuel the future of robotic surgery innovation, and place the very best tools and technology into the hands of our skilled care providers at St. Joe's.

Our fundraising priorities are set in partnership with the Hospital to ensure donations are going to the programs and projects where they're needed most.
